The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club is proud to offer training classes!
The Greater Fort Myers Dog Club, Inc. is pleased to announce the start of Weekly Conformation Classes Tuesday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. at an indoor facility located in central Lee County.
The Conformation Class, will run approximately 1 hour with attention and emphasis being given to those (person or puppy or both) that have had little to no experience in the conformation ring. Come learn to train and show your dog!!
COST: $10.00 for nonmember; $5.00 for member per week.
Be sure your puppy/dog is current on shots: rabies & parvo
If you do not have a show lead: go to www.cherrybrook.com or call their Customer Service at: 1-800-524-0820 M-F 8a.m. to 6p.m. Explain to them what you need (show lead — preferably nylon), what breed you have, and the neck measurement (around) in some cases. They are very good at providing you with the correct collar and lead. I personally do NOT like chain collars on young dogs though it can be a necessity in some of the larger breeds such as an akita or mastiff.

Directions:
From NFM: come south down 41 to Crystal Drive (past Colonial but before College). Turn Left. Go to Metro Parkway and turn Left. Make FIRST Left into green shopping center "Metro Centre", go around to the back to Healing Paws-Abilities' doors.
From Cape Coral Veterans Bridge: go East on Colonial over 41 turn R on Metro.... Go ~2.3 miles toward Crystal Drive BEFORE the turn onto Crystal, there is a green strip mall on the right. "Metro centre" Turn right and go around to back of shopping center to Healing Paws-Abilities' doors.
From Cape Coral "College" Bridge: go East on College to 41 and you can either:
go south (right) on 41 to Daniels and turn Left, then go to Metro and turn left, go thru the light at Crystal Drive and Make FIRST Left into green shopping center "Metro Centre", go around to the back to Healing Paws-Abilities' doors.
OR
go north (left) on 41 to Crystal and turn Right, then go to Metro and turn Left.... Make FIRST Left into green shopping center "Metro Centre", go around to the back to Healing Paws-Abilities' doors.

Going south:
Take I-75 to exit 136 and go west on Colonial to Metro Parkway
Make a left onto Metro Parkway. Go ~2.3 miles toward Crystal Drive

Going north:
Take I-75 to exit 131 and go west on Daniels to Metro Parkway
Make a right onto Metro Parkway.
